I just realized that there are less than 92 hours left until the final episode of Season 3 airs. I was wondering, what do y'all do while waiting for the new episodes to premiere next February (besides write fanfiics that are often better than what I've seen from the show's creative team)? I know our lives won't be held in suspended animation (no pun intended), but what do you folks talk about in the meantime?

Hey, some of us haven't reached the end yet! Channel 5 are now about 3 or 4 episodes behind! Despite wots-her-name promising it would be a new episode last week, we've had another two weeks of Season 1 repeats. The only silver lining is that I'd only previously seen these via the Daria Warehouse, so I now have the chance to see them properly, and I guess we will *eventually* get to see the rest of Season 3, though ford knows when. Channel 5 seem determined to make the most of the rerun freebies they screwed out of MTV as the price for not premiering any more Season 3 episodes. It's kind of sad though, I rather enjoyed the experience of seeing something first whilst it lasted. I can see why you Americans are so addicted to getting everything first and then making the rest of the world wait a couple of months. It's a sort of power craze thing I think.
As to what we will find to do when new Daria episodes aren't coming out, well I've managed to post 60 messages to atd in the last fortnight, and none of them have been about a current episode. The last time I discussed a current episode was on July 28 when I commented on Lane Miserables. And I can keep this up indefinitely, as can most people on atd. Only the wusses stop posting when Daria stops being shown.

I watched ThroughALensDarkly again today, twice. (And once the day before yesterday.) I was toying with the idea of turning the soundtrack into an mp3 as the amount of atmosphere generated by the incidental music make me feel it might work as a "radio play".
Such pathos can only be found on atd.
Do you have info on this? I was never able to find out anything about the theology of Darianites, so I decided to start my own church. But so far I only have the "St Daria" page up on my website. I have some half- finished gospels somewhere though that I really must get round to uploading.
