I think that if I see one more post or thread about just exactly where Lawndale is located I'm going to go totally batsh*t crazy. Some would say that I'm already well past that point.
So I decided to go there. What the hey, we've got the technology. It's just a matter of slipping a twenty to the sarge in charge of the ShipPool to get a small scout ship.
I was hanging in orbit over the USA when I set the controls for the heart of the sun, clicked my fuzzy pink bunny slippers together three times, said,"I just want to go to Lawndale", pushed Stimpy out of the way and hit the big, shiny, red button.
Whoa! What's Australia doing there? Time to check the Relativistic Phase Meter. -45 deg. on the x axis, 2.5 deg. on the y, and a whopping 180.3 deg. phase shift on the z axis. Well, that explains Australia being where it is. 0.00000013 on the t axis. Cool. People won't be moving like ants on an overturned hill or going in slomo. A quick check of the GPS display and there she blows so I head on down.
Are you ready for this? Lawndale is a suburb of Toontown. Yup, that's right. That's how Lawndale can have snow, desert, hurricanes, etc. from week to week.
I'm sorry to say that while I was there Daria was driving Jane somewhere, Trent was asleep, the fashion club was holding some sort of inquisition, and Helen was too busy to give me the time of day. I did manage to catch Jessica's show at the Ink&Paint Club so the trip wasn't a total waste (I have told you that I've got a thing for redheads, right? Just because I'm on a diet doesn't mean I can't read the menu ;) ).
There. That should settle it. Lawndale is a suburb of Toontown and everybody knows where Toontown is.
If anyone wants to come with me next time I visit I'll see if I can scrounge up a TroopShip. Just drop me a line.
