Creator and host for the first few seasons of Mystery Science Theater 3000, a show I think a lot of Daria fans could appreciate and enjoy.
We don't get that here, but one of my favourite programmes is The Chemistry Of Almost Everything, which has a little theatre-like slot where the element of the week takes a bow. The series was originally made by the Open University for science students, but was so good they ended up rerunning it in peak time. Every facet of Chemistry is brought to life with just the right amount of melodrama, such as in the edition on the chemistry of life, where Mike Bullivant is holding a copy of the periodic table, and progressively tears pieces off as he eliminates classes of elements which are unsuited to forming the basis of life for one reason or another, until he's left with just a tiny square of paper... http://www.xerez.demon.co.uk/tv/update.html

I didn't stop stalking you. I just took a sabbatical. But go look out your window -- I'm still in your bushes, if only in spirit.
If you think *that's* impressive, wait until you see how I make his eye bulge out.
Damn. Can I at least tell Mistress Odie?
That's exactly what you said about "Trouser Bill" before you pulled your pants down in front of Jess...

That could be a new definition for serendipity in the dictionary: When someone in one of your newsgroups mentions the topic of another of your unrelated newsgroups.
If you're looking for a MST3K newsgroup, the low-volume one is alt.tv.mst3k. The high-volume one -- and I mean *huge* volume, mostly about anything but MST3K -- is rec.arts.tv.mst3k.*.
