Beavis and Butthead & the three J's

Has anyone noticed the similarities between Daria's relationship with Beavis & Butthead and Quinn's relationship with the three J's? In both cases, the girls are hanging out with boys they don't particularly care for and using them for their own amusement. Daria used Beavis & Butthead as her own personal freak show, to give her a sense of intelectual superiority. Quinn uses the three J's to carry her books, buy her meals in French restuarants, and remind her how pretty and popular she is. Neither B & B nor the three J's ever complain about the shoddy treatment, or even realize how they are being used.

And of course there are the three T's that are the total opposite of the equation... (Trent/Tom/Ted). I wonder who in the Daria team are *naming* these people...

If I ever have male triplets, I'll name 'em after those three. If I don't die from the labor pains first, that is :P

Well they should look at it this way it could be worse you could call twin Beavis & Butthead :) Then again I suppose for twin girls Daria & Quinn would be pretty cool :) Hell if you had Quads use the whole fassion club :)

That's right! It was a *Twilight Zone* crossover. Daria made a wish or something, I think it was along the lines of "I wish Quinn could understand my position." Then Upchuck shows up as the narrator, says his schpiel, the Twilight theme runs, and Daria finds herself in Highland, with *her* being the shallow one, and Quinn being the smart one.

The point of deviation was when some nuclear plant had ann accident. The wind happened to be blowing a different direction that day, and it was *Lawndale* that ended up with Uranium in the drinking water, so the Morgandorffers never moved, and Beavis and *Melvin* weren't (as) stupid.

Now *that* was a cool fic. I'll have to find out which one it was.

Heheheh yeah, also if you've seen any of the Hercules cartoon, I'm sure one of the characters on there sounded pretty much like Kevin, and IIRC acts almost as stupid :) I could be wrong though I don't watch the damn thing but I have friends with childeren....ok that's my excuse :)

Well, the three J's are considered good looking and popular and Quinn's "attention" reinforces this. If they were't, Quinn would be "Ewwww!!". So they're more than happy to act as her valets.

The only one I remember clearly was the one where she changes the tire for them, and in that case I think she just happened to be walking by.
