What kind of spoilers did "Behind the Scenes...." give ?

I didn't get to see the special yet, and someone told me that Trent and Daria are supposed to have a relationship or something ? Is that true ? What other details did they give about the new season ??

<SARCASM> I see as normal one sniff of the word 'relationship' around Daria, and the 'shipper roumor mill has gone into overdrive. </SARCASM>

Also keep in mind that there's a fifth season coming up and then (PLEASE!) a sixth. The Daria/Trent thing is one of the best running storylines they've got on the series and I would imagine they want to keep it going. So Jordan's theory seems like a good bet.

I agree. I think what a lot of people failed to remember from the scene they showed, which popped up on a lot of my mailing lists is that they were all excited thinking that the clip was from an up coming episode in season 4. It was kind of hard to break it to them that the clip was in fact from the last episode of season 3. ;) Those teases at MTV.. really ;P

Well I'm hoping that whoever it is remains a sideline character, the same goes for Jane's BF actually, to have them too much in the focus would IMHO mostly destroy what Daria is about. (well for me at least), which is why I hope it's *NOT* Trent he's too much of a main character now, and it could runin the show completely :(

Ok,according to a producer who was interviewed for the special,Daria is going to "embark on a relationship with someone" in the fourth season. I don't know if it's Trent or not.After she said this they showed a clip with Daria answering the door and it's Trent. Trent asks for Daria's help and she says "Take a number." According to the producer the relationship is part of Daria's growing up. Does growing up mean she's mature enough to acknowledge and give in to her feelings about Trent? Or does it mean she's mature enough to see Trent as a crush and is ready to move on to someone else? That's a question.
