ichthyosis- A disease that turns the skin scaly like a fish.
Laughing sickness- people stricken with this disease literally laugh themselves to death. This sickness is only known in New Guinea
Amazia- The complete absence of breasts

This is also known as kuru. It is found primarily in New Guinea. The disease is acquired by consuming the brain tissue of an infected individual. Which should tell you something about New Guinea.
