I monitor forthcoming DVD releases, looking for new DVD publishers who might be interested in taking on _Daria_. I learned less than an hour ago that a publisher that was previously unknown to me has acquired the rights to _Man from UNCLE_. (Yay!)
They are Anchor Bay Entertainment, and _Daria_ would be a good fit for their catalogue. They invite suggestions for future releases to [email] -- they say no personal replies will be given to suggestions, so despair not when they don't respond.
You know what to do!
Your responses to earlier calls to contact independent publishers led to those publishers contacting Viacom to make enquiries. Even if a publisher chooses not to pay what Viacom ask for the rights to _Daria_, the fact that *yet again* an outside publisher has enquired about the show might convince the folk at Viacom/MTV to authorise their own release. Or it may be that this time, they'll respond with a price that the publishers are willing to pay.
