I read so many gushing reviews for this episode that I just had to include my input. Now, this is not to say I didn't enjoy this episode: I laughed through the whole thing. But something about it nagged me. This episode depressed the hell out of me for some reason(although that probably has something to do with the direction my own life is in). The whole plot was exactly what I didn't want to see; it was exactly how I predicted but I hoped it wouldn't be. It was kind of Saved By the Bell-like. I mean, why did Jane act the way she did? I thought that was out of character for her. But I did enjoy the emotion involved, and the Daria-talking- to-herself thing was thought-provoking. But I was happy that by the end Jane quit the team. If she was always at practice, when would she have time for her art?
