I was reading the October issue of Penthouse magazine the other day, when I came across an article about animation on TV. Most of the shows talked about the Simpsons, King of the Hill, and Futurama, but there was also mention of Daria! It was fairly good press, too - here are some excerpts:
"Almost a decade after "The Simpsons" opened up a new world of possibilitiesin animated evening TV - and nearly three years after "King of the Hill" on Fox and "Daria" on MTV became the first prime time cartoon sitcoms worthy of being mentioned in the same breath - suddenly there are a slew of new entries."

A dead-on satire of high school spun off around the cooly(?) brainy character who was Beavis and Butthead's only female friend, "Daria" relies on superior writing to make up for extremely limited animation."

There was more, but you'll have to see for yourself. In all, it was a damn good showing for my favorite animated show!
