That posting about Daria in Germany got me thinking. Anyone know where there some clips of the Daria dubbed into other languages. Being a fan of anime I get a real kick out of stuff like this. You just haven't lived till you've watched Sailor Moon in Turkish.

Can't say on German, but I know Daria has been dubbed into French. Anyone besides me think Daria would actually sound really cool in French?

I not only believe but know that Daria has been dubbed. Not the episodes they show on MTV, but those that are running on Premiere World (K-Toon). To say it sucks is putting it mildly.
The actual translation is not that horrible, but the voices are not the least bit similar. Jane for example has a very high, squeaky voice, she sounds worse than the original Brittany.

I can say Daria sounds great in Spanish, but I mean Spanish from Spain, not that weird Spanish spoken in Mexico, which by the way is the one used in the clips at http://daria.mtv.com I wish you could hear some clips in Spanish-Spanish, the voices are almost the same. daria.mtv.com should include some of that clips. Of course I love watching everything in English, but Daria and Friends are great in Spanish too. D. M.

Actually, the show's been getting _really_ good lately. Practically Lovecraftian, with the Sovereign of Silence, and Pharoah-Ninety, the Ruler of Different Dimensions. That story arc just ended yesterday, I think.
