My grades on Daria eps.

Season 1:

1. Esteemers: B+ (Good starter to a fabulous series) 2. The Invitation: B+ (Lots of new characters, and the piss-cup-Quinn story) 3. College Bored: B (HEATHER the tour guide (drool) 4. Cafe Disafecto: B- 5. Malled: A- 6. This Years Model: B- 7. Lab Brat: B- 8. Pinch Sitter: A+ (Ingenious script setup with the cult assingment) 9. Too Cute: A+ (fake boobs, need I say more) 10. The Big House: B- 11. Road Worrier: A- (A fun little Road trip, I dont even care about the Trent thing) 12. The Teachings of Don Jake: A- (Glitterberries, and the Lanes!) 13. The misery Chick: D (I was glad he died, Daria was not wrong for enjoying it, and the whole second act dragged)

Season 2:

14. Arts and Crass: A+ (incredibly fun ep) 15. The Daria Hunter: F (The worse episode, the only one I consider really awful) 16. Quinn The Brain: A 17. I Don't: A- 18. That was Then this is Dumb: B+ 19. Monster: B- 20. The New Kid: B- 21. Gifted: C (The Grove Hills stuff I didnt really like, Quinn/Jane/Fashion Club SAVED this ep)

There are no bad eps (well except The Daria Hunter), and please note that Im grading using the AP system, so a B carries the weight of an average A. The eps that got A's are above the average A.

I took some AP courses back in high school but we didn't have letter grades, we got number grades and quality point on a preset scale(i.e. a 99 counts as 49 QP's in AP, 45QP's in Honors, etc). Not really important but integral. My letter grades are based on the university where I go to school A=ingenious, B=above average, C=average, D=barely afloat, F=please try again!

Might as well throw my 2 cents in.

episode into the middle of a season, and it would hold up on it's own, unlike a lot of first eps)

comments Daria would think, but not say. Of course, their game of "I'm going to the picnic..." was one of my all-time favorite moments on the show)

weird ones in there every season. They went a little too far in trying to show that Daria wasn't a misery chick, and they lost control of the episode)

would be stupid, and we're already doing a stupid thing Jane: But this stupid thing would be OUR idea)

loved the whole "even when she wins she loses" theme, and the last lines were the greatest of the show. I might not get this exactly right, but here goes, Daria: We did it. Fashion good, brains bad. Jane: Yeah, we win, right?)

better, but I loved the continuation of the win/lose thing, when Daria meets Ted, she tries to bring him out into the real world, and she does just that. This leads to him dumping her.)

Season 1:

1. Esteemers: B+ ( I think it was a great start...however they could've done better introducing some of the other characters. better middle of the season type thing (as said with some of the the other posts.) 2. The Invitation: B+ (We see more insight into the characters--(Brittany, Jane..etc)

1. Esteemers: B+ 2. The Invitation: A+ (Probably my favorite episode 3. College Bored: B- 4. Cafe Disafecto: B- (Only because Mtv used to air this one a hell of alot 5. Malled: C+ (The animation in the mall was horrible, reminds me of the first season of the Simpsons) 6. This Years Model: C+ (Not funny enough) 7. Lab Brat: B- 8. Pinch Sitter: A 9. Too Cute: B- (And entire episode listening to Quinns high pitched voice.....need I say more?) 10. The Big House: B+ 11. Road Worrier: A (Good even without the Trent thing 12. The Teachings of Don Jake: B- 13. The misery Chick: B (I like this episode the more and more I keep watching it)

Season 2:

14. Arts and Crass: B (Not a stellar start to the second season) 15. The Daria Hunter: D (I agree it's probably the worst episode so far) 16. Quinn The Brain: A- 17. I Don't: B 18. That was Then this is Dumb: B 19. Monster: A- 20. The New Kid: B+ 21. Gifted: A- And let's not forget 22. Ill: C- (Lame, lame, lame. The title alone sounds like a bad rap song)
