I went to see Duran Duran the two times they were in Vegas...OMFG that was awesome. I'll post a URL to a large group picture taken of a lot of us who met up there later on, but first off...

Uhhhh...I posted this factoid awhile ago. In fact, when "Legends of the Mall" (the "Daria" ep w/"Hungry Like the Wolf" on it) debuted, I posted it. To be clearer, "Legends of the Mall" explored three Lawndale suburban legends, one of which took place around '83 - '84. This is the one with "HLTW" (*and* Cyndi Lauper's "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun") on it. I'm a HUGE Darianite ("Daria" fanatic), so these things normally don't escape me, except I was away to the Vegas shows when they debuted the "Daria" movie ("Is it Fall Yet?"), so I'm going to have to watch the recording I made of it. Honestly...there *might* be a Duranie there in production, but it could also be that production reads the "Daria" newsgroup (a known fact) and observes how three Duranies (myself and two others) post to said newsgroup, so maybe they figure a Duran song or two is just what a particular segment of the Darianite universe would like. Whatever it is, I'm so excited to hear they used "SENM" on the movie. It's always cool to find my two biggest obsessions linked together.
