Watching this ep, only one word came to mind continually: "Cliche!"

Well, folks, that clinches it. Kyle hates "Speedtrapped," therefore it has to be one of the best episodes of the series.

Too true. It's the first really good one written by Sam and Chris Marcil IMO and the best of season 3 so far, follwed by Daria Dance Party and Lane Miserables.

Sam Johnson and Chris Marcil, IMO, stopped their downward spiral. From "College Bored", a slight dropoff to "The Big House", a bigger dropoff to "The New Kid", and then seemingly fell off the planet with "Depth Takes a Holiday", I guess when you hit bottom there's nowhere to go but up, and they did. "Speedtrapped" was as good if not better than their earlier episodes. Right up there with ep. #'s 308 and 301 in the 3rd season, and 105, 209, and 212 overall.

SPOILERS for "Speedtrapped" * * * * * * * * * * * * *

I liked "Speedtrapped", though I don't think it was as good as "Lane Miserables". The best part of it was the Daria - Quinn bonding, though I also liked the Jane in the Big House scenes. We also got to see more of the rest of Mystik Spiral, which is nice. Now they actually have personalities :)
