Yeah, it's old(2002) but on the bottom of the article says that the creator is making a series about Trent and Mystik Spiral. Has anyone heard any news about it? Well, I suppose now it wouldn't be considered news...
Its such a coincidence that you mention this for I was just online yesterday searchig for news on a Trent spinoff, but from what I've heard "Daria" or anything related is dead now. MTV no longer has an animated division, and with it being three years now since news of that Trent series I don't see it happening. Unless it's shopped to another network like Cartoon Network, which is releasing the long awaited "Boondocks" cartoon this fall. I for one think the Trent series would be the best prospect for spinoff potential because the character wasn't overused and the backstory is just enough for familiarity.
