I've been missing some of this technical difficulty stuff lately but today I saw it. The sound (and the CC) was off and I think they cut to commercial too early in some places. Did anyone else think the words were comming out kinda slow, or has this cold I got infected my hearing?
The Invitation rerun today
Well, you were right, somewhat. They cut Quinn's line "Daria is ruining my life again" to do what? Why, advertise for Total Request Live, of course. And throughout the episode, the sound was screwed up by those very short silences (you know what I mean, right). However, the Monday showing of Write Where It Hurts was aired flawless (amazing, isn't it?)... hmm...
Daerith
Dammit! The one flawless episode they show all week and I was away from home that day. Dammit MTV!
...and once again an opening appears, an opening wider than the yawning chasm where Kevin's brain should be...and I run eagerly through the opening by saying: Dammit! It's MY turn to say "Dammit!"
Where do you think I got the idea?

No, you're fine. They're the ones who are screwing up. I caught the tape today when I got home, and, sure enough, the morons in the control room have struck again. *sigh* I've never actually seen a video master screwed up in such a fashion to actually run slow, but, sure enough, it was running slow. (The commercials run automatically-- so the tape was slow-- it never got to the bumper.) Frankly, I'd love to know how anyone could run a videotape *slow.* That must either take real talent, or real stupidity. I dunno, maybe it's a conspiract, so I'll never get good copies of the first few episodes of Season One. (and, no, the video doesn't count, because they went cheap on the music. ick.)
Time to sharpen those pencils, folks! (Or crayons, for you trolls out there.)

Sharpening Crayons?! Sacrilege! They should be used until there is but a tiny pill of a crayon left, which you have to push across the paper with your little finger...
